What signs of Global Warming have you noticed in Alaska? Does this affect your research?

Hi Yerlin and great question! I'd say the answer I've heard the most so far is that scientists have seen a change in the sea ice conditions. A large part of the study we're working on is to collect data as a base to figure out how the organisms like zooplankton and phytoplankton are being impacted by the changing conditions in the Arctic due to the warming temperatures.
