Question: Hi Mrs.Steff I am From St.Mark Catholic School I have a Question For You. When You went on a long Journey Didnt u miss Your Family ? And did you really Like Whale Food ? And Outside what was the Temperature?

quite a bit, however the people I've met in Alaska have all made me feel
very welcomed and at home, so that made it easier to be away. As far as
the whale....well, I thought the meat was a little fishy tasting for me.
Sort of like biting into a nice steak...and tasting fish! But the
blubber and skin, or muktuk, was actually pretty good. Finally
addressing the temperature question, in February in Fairbanks it was -39
F when I arrived, Barrow in May and now September is in the 30's F.
