Mr. Miller, We have tried several ways to figure out the math for "how many gallons in 30 cubic meters."

We have 2 answers  7, 926 gallons   and 113,550 gallons. We got these by doing the math 2 different ways. It was harder than we thought. can you tell us which is right, or notWink

thanks, Matt, Armand, and Mrs Lollies class(Mr. Buel too)

Now being a teacher you know I'm going to make you find out which one is correct don't you.  The easiest way would be to find a conversion factor that relates a metric measure of volume with our system.   Such as 1 cubic meter = how many gallons?  or you might have to convert to a more common metric measurement such as cubic centimeters or milliliters - in order to find how they compare with our units.  I was talking with the Chief Officer Ole last evening and he said that our entire group on board uses about 10 cubic meters of water each day and their freshwater tanks are nearly full and contain about 250 cubic meters of water right now.  Good luck - keep working on the problem!
