Hi Mrs. Kaden,

I came across your personal website while searching the internet for physics topics and found out about your trip on the Oden. Following your link to this site I learned more about your trip to Antarctica. Being a science teacher I took one of my classes to the computer lab in order for them to read your journal and discuss it in class.

We really enjoyed all the descriptions and photos that you have published and we had an interesting discussion about life in Antarctica.

Thank you very much for your excellent journal. It sure takes a lot of time and skill to make it that impressive.

Greetings from Germany from a fellow educator.

Ute Kaden

I am glad that you found my POLARTREC website. The trip to Antarctica was truly marvelous and a great learning experience. I am glad that the journal helps you and your students to understand and learn about Antarctica and most importantly to create interest in this unique but very important part of our planet.
The Oden mission was a great start for the International Polar Year (IPY 2007) a true international collaboration between Sweden, the US, Chile and with outreach to Germany and New Zealand.
Thank you so much for following along,
Best regards,

Ute Kaden
