Dear Mr miller,

        I'm in isabells class.I was wondering if you could sent some pictures ofsome valcanoes.Is it fun there.What do you usualy do there.I hope you are having a good time.

Mickey - we only saw one volcano down in Antarctica, and it is the most southern active volcano in the world - Mt. Erebus.  Here is a picture as we approached on the Oden
We only saw it from a distance - but scientists have been studying this volcano extensively and there is a great website with lots of good pictures and even some video. 
thanks for your good wishes - we did have a great time.  Study hard and maybe you'll travel there to do some volcano research of your own someday!  Happy New Year
