Laughinghi mr.miller we are in ms.isabella smiths class.we have a question for you if u have enouph time to awnser our questions.We want to ask u ,are there any polar bears in art antica?We also want to ask you about how many kind of peaguins are there that you seen?

Sorry I didn't get this message until I got back to the US - but fortunately for all the penguins we saw we didn't see any polar bears. They are an Arctic animal so they live all up north in places like Canada, Alaska, Russia, etc. There are no land animals at all in Antarctica - there are only a few little lichen that can survive the incredibly harsh winters there - not even a single tree or plant. But we saw lots of penguins - mostly 3 kinds - emperors (the biggest), chinstrap, and adelie. We also saw some magdallenes penguins in Chile before we left on the trip - there are some pictures of these on the website if you want to see what they look like. Hope you've had a great holiday.
