how cold is it down in Antarctia?

Remember, while Dec and Jan are the beginning of winter for us, it will be the beginning of summer in Antarctica.
The coastal parts of Antarctica (where I will be going on the Oden) will have temperatures just about the same as I am used to back in the Syracuse area for that time of year.
