Hey what's up Jeff,You had some great answers for me..The first question you asked is what was our disolved oxygen? When we tested it we got that it was low,it was 5-6ppm.The 2nd question you had is about e-coi? On are e-coli we got that the water was getting contaminated by the poop in the water..We dont know if the poop is comming from animal or humans.

Hey well i have some questions for you..What will happen if you ever harm a seal? Did you already finsh your sediment trap that you were building?Well i have to go cause Jillian is yelling at me to hurry up and go start science..Hope you answer my questions..See you later..

Uriel!
I have not had a chance to begin my own sediment trap. I think it will have to wait until I get back from Antarctica.  Regarding the seals, the Swedish scientists who are collecting the data from the seals told me that they have done this many times and the seals are never harmed.  The seals are only held down on the ice with a net for a few minutes and then they are released.
Have fun,
 Jeff
