my namee is stephanie ortiz and i would like to know what is like to stay over there. Are you happy or cold or just both well i have to go but stay safe and watch out for them pinguiens?

Stephanie,
I am very happy and honored to be in such an amazing part of the world.  I will admit however, that I do miss my family and friends.  I left home one month ago today and I will not see them again for more than 3 weeks.  I must also admit that I am not cold at all.  Remember, it is summer here with 24 hours of daylight. The weather here is somewhat constantly between 25-35? F and we all have warm clothes.  While we are inside the Oden it is sometimes a little too warm.  Most of us wear short-sleeved shirts when we are inside.  The ship’s giant engines give off so much heat that the windows and doors are regularly left open.
Remember to keep reading my journals over the break.  There are new videos coming!
