Uncle Jeff??Let me see, who could be responding to my "dead stuff challenge"?
You need to put your name and city/school on the end of the forum post so that I can fully recognize who the message is from.  I must say that I have several charming, smart and wonderful nieces and nephews and WALRUS IS THE RIGHT ANSWER! YOU ARE THE WINNER! …but I still don’t know who you are…….
…meanwhile, back to the skull, notice how short and flat the face of the animal was and you can see the large groove where the tusk once fit into the head.  Walrus tusks are actually enlarge canine teeth.  You can feel your canine teeth. It you notice the 4 flat upper teeth in the front of your mouth, then check out the longer, pointed teeth on each side of them you have found your canines. Imagine that your were a walrus and your canine teeth were over 2 feet long!!.  They use these giant teeth to dig for clams on the bottom of the see and to impress other walrus.  I know that if I met a person with 2 foot long teeth I would be impressed.
Love,
Uncle Jeff
