JUST ONE MORE THING ,WHEN YOU WERE IN THE PERMA FROST TUNNEL DID YOU FIND ANYTHING THAT YOU COULD KEEP AND WHAT ALL DID YOU LEARN.

Wow Giavanna!
Great questions! Here goes. My wife and I live in Pennellville, NY which is a very small town about 25 miles North of Syracuse and about 30 miles SE of Lake Ontario. I grew up in this area and I have lived here most of my life. Much of my family lives within 60 miles of me including my daughter and son who are both in local colleges.  Some of my family lives in Ohio, Missouri and my uncle lives in Lake Havassu!
I have been taking my students to the Black River Gorge about one hour from here every spring for the last 5 years and we are going back again next spring to raft the rapids.
Your teacher Ms. Worssam IS fabulous and I spent time with her in Fairbanks Alaska last March and again at the Grand Canyon in April.  You are so lucky to have a teacher like her.
I don't know what penguins you are asking about but I will send any class a blank flag kit as long as the teacher requests one through my email.  So far I have sent out over 125 flags.
The permafrost tunnel in Fairbanks was awesome and I learned many things about ice age life.  However, the tunnel is a scientific research site and I was a fortunate to be invited to go in.  I would not even think of taking anything from a place like that.  The tunnel and its contents are not mine for the taking.
Have fun and keep asking questions,
Jeff Peneston
