Mr.Peneston,

How cold does it get in Antarctica or on the ocean while you're there?

Dana,
At the beginning of each daily journal entry I will try to include information about air and water temperature. Today we are 44° S of the equator during early summer and both the air and sea temperature was about 11° C which is about 52° F. I expect that the air temperature on the Amundsen Sea ice will be between 5°-35° F and that the wind will make it feel much colder.
Thanks for the question!
