Hi Jeff! Do you know when your next webinar will be? Let me know and I'll spread the word through Liverpool. - Alex Becerra, Sr.

Alex,
I would like to do another webinar about Jan 7-8.  By then we will be able to describe a summary of the expedition and we will have passed through the Ross Sea.  Hopefully, we will have had a close encounter with the Ross Ice Shelf and orcas in the Ross Sea polynya.  I have not confirmed any of this with the PolarTREC program managers so let me work on it.I have a question for you.  Do you have any way to estimate how many Liverpool classes and students participated in the webinar on Monday.  I have been told that Nationally, 40 groups participated and the total audience was estimated at 600-700.  As huge as that is,  I think that Liverpool alone had more than that.  I know that at the Annex and MRE they offered teachers a prodcast through the school wide TV system.
BTW, check out the little video that I posted today (12/17).  I think you will like it.     Wait until the students see the video I am working on today that shows the seal team in action capturing seals on the ice.
Take care, and thanks for all your support,
Jeff

I don't know how many participated in Liverpool, but I can try to figure this out for you. How about this? - Let me know as soon as you can about your next webinar. I'll send out an email to all teachers inviting them to participate and asking them to let me know if they participated in the last event, and about how many of their students were involved. Will this work, or do you need the info sooner? -Alex
