Oden Antarctic Expedition 08

Jeff, my fifth grade class would like to know the route the Oden will take back to Sweden, and how long will it take:) Lollie

Lollie,
The Oden will begin its main job of cutting the ice channel into McMurdo on 1/9 and will stay here to complete that task and escourt supply ships until mid February.  It will then head back to Montevideo, Uruguay where it will refuel in early March.  It will stop in the Canary Islands for a crew change and then arrive back home in Sweden in early April.
