Looks like your cabin resembles a dorm. Bring back any college memories?

Tom!You are right, there are several similarities between life on the Oden and life on a college campus.  The rooms are small and it is really important to get the right roommate. My first college room was larger than my cabin on the Oden but the door that divides the room in half and the private bathroom are improvements over my first dorm.  I am also fortunate to have a great roommate.  Dr. Ingall is fun, funny, easy to get along with and I can rely on his years of experience from many other trips to sea.  It is kind of like showing up to your freshman dorm and having a helpful upperclassman as a roommate.
Another similarity to college life is the daily trip to the mess hall for meals.  The good news is that the food has been great.
