Oden Antarctic Expedition 08

This is from Phil from LHS. Is your Swedish food good? What are your favorite foods?  Up there is it fun? Up there is it cool? Are there alot of mountains? Is it cool? When do you leave to come home? Is there alot of snow? Do you have to wear alot of warm clothes? Where do you buy food?  Are there alot of people that live there?

Phil,
Thanks for the questions. You can see photos of some of the food on the Oden (including my new favorite, knäckebröd with cheese, on my 12/2 journal post. Yes, it is big fun and massive cool to be part of this expedition. I am about 100 miles from the nearest land and I have not seen any land in 3 days. There will be lots of snow when we reach the sea ice of Antarctica in about a week. I will not head home until about January 15th. I don’t need to buy food because meals on provided on the ship. 54 people live on the Oden right now.
