Oden Antarctic Expedition 08

 

 

       My name is Hunter Smith and I am a student in Mrs.Angotti's class.  what is the average temperature in Antarctica?  If you do not know what is your estimation?  When will you be back from Antarctica?

Hunter,Antarctica is a big place. The continent is much larger than the United States and so you can understand that it has a range of climates.  The temperature in the center of the Antarctica gets colder than any where else in the world and has been more than -100?f.  But, remember that it is summer now and where I am on the coast at 77?S latitude it is about 30?f.  I will leave here on Jan 13 and I will be back home on the 16th.
