Ms. Tucci and Jen Weks are looking at the blog post about the ice divers, and Ms. Tucci's question is:

Why don't the divers wear something to cover their faces? It seems like something could be invented to protect that part of their body, which in her opinion is a pretty important part. (Can you hear the Ms. Tucci voice in there??)

We miss you Ms. Galvan.

Hi Tucci!!The divers don't wear anything to cover their face because it would
interfer with the masks and breathing devices. I agree though - that
water is COLD! Their faces are bright pink from the cold when they get
out. Their lips go numb as well - when they talk it's sort of like
after you go to the dentist and your lip is all numb and tingly and
interferes with your ability to talk...
Miss you guys too!
