What will you be eating when you are up there ?

Will you be in a tent or a cabin and are you going to share with somebody?

What is the time difference ?

How do you know what time it is out there ?

Can you use cell phones and will there be any service ? If there is how will you charge your phone ?

Can you send letters ? If you can how do you give it to the mail man ?

These are all great questions. I believe another student asked similarquestions. Look for my reply to that question.
Also, soon I will be posting a journal about the daily life aboard the
USCGC Polar Sea to give you all the details. In the meantime, you can
read about a past teachers experience on the boat. Some teachers who
have been on these types of boats are: Ms Wheeler, Ms Welch and Mr McCay.
I won't have cell phone reception, but I can charge things using a
regular plug - just like the house. For mail, the post man won't be
making it all the way out there - so the best way to get me is via email!
Thanks,
Ms Galvan
