Has any of the Polar bears killed/eaten any of the scientists?

Hi,Actually as far as I know, there have not been any scientists killed by
polar bears during their research. However, there have been some plane
crashes with scientists. Overall, they try to be very careful to
tranquilize the bears to make sure they are safe and that bears are safe
as well.
