Polar Bear Response to Sea Ice Loss

Hello is it true that polar bear hair is clear not white?If so why is it still look white in the water? sincerly, Anna Sell

Hi Anna,Great question - their hair is translucent - meaning "sort of" clear.
Imagine a white grocery bag - you can see through it, but it still appears
white in color. Their hair is similar to that.
