- How do they get the helicopters in the hangar?
- Why is there a basketball hoop in the hangar? Who plays?
- Are people allowed to drink alcohol on the ship?
- Why are the scientists in one of your pictures (Alex and Kate) looking out for birds and mammals? What are they studying?
- Can you send us some pictures of the tranquilizer gun you use on the polar bears?
- Why do you need to collect polar bear feces? Are the feces frozen?
- What if the bears wake up while you are near them?
- How cold is the water over there?
- Are you tired of being on the ship?
- How far does the sea ice go down under the water? Is it 75% under water like regular ice?
- How will you get the fat samples from the polar bears?
- In the picture titled "Science in Action" (of the wetlab), what are in those jar-looking things? Are they filters?
- How many scientists are on the boat?
- How many people total are on the boat?
- Are the sleeping arrangements co-ed?
- Tell us about your roommates - what are they like and why are they on the boat?
- What percent of polar bears are male?
- Can the divers feel the when they go into the sea, even though they're wearing special suits?
- Why is the day(light) so short up there?
- Is the North Pole colder than the South Pole?
- How do they have internet on the boat? Do they have satellites out there?
- Do you get claustrophobic on the ship?
- Where does your drinking water come from?
- What do you mean you are taking milk samples from the polar bears...is it just the females? Do you milk them like a cow?
- Why are they doing this polar bear research on a military ship?
- Is the shower hot or cold?
