Christina,

Can we have a hint? Is the sound natural or by humans? (or machine)

If the sound is not electronic, my guess is some sort of seal...or whale (I think I have heard some whale sounds that are similar)

By the way, the journals are AWESOME! Keep 'em coming!

The Galvan

The noise that Cristina posted on 10/7 can be one of three things: cazy aliens attacking the ship with a ray gun, a sonar mechanism, or Cristina snoring.
hehe Love you sis!!!
love,
Rachel and Carlos
PS Carlos is still wondering about the coca-cola...

Cristina Galvan

Hi Rachel and Carlos!I'm so glad to hear from you! Check out the 10/7 journal for the answer!
I checked with the scientists about their hypothesis for coca-cola.
They aren't sure that the bears would actually like coca-cola - they
actually really like food that is high in fat (like seal blubber) rather
than sweets like other bears. Other bears are known to like sweets -
like berries. However, polar bears really need fatty foods to add to
their fatty insulation layer.
Miss you guys!
Love ya,
Cristina
ps. Take care of Dad :)

You are definitely on the right track with your guess!
