What is the most interesting thing you have learned about wolf spiders since in Alaska? Are they as scary as they look??

The spiders aren't at all scary. They are actually quite small. It think I was most interested in learning about the significant and important role that they play in such a huge ecosystem. They are so tiny but make up roughly 30-40 percent more biomass than wolves in the arctic. In a biome that is often associated with large charismatic animals, it is amazing to see that the small organisms play such a big role!
