How big to wolf spiders get? Is there a difference in size of the spiders from the Arctic compared to back home? I have a fascination for big spiders and would like to see how big they can get. Thanks.

The most common species we see is Pardosa lapponica. An average size is 5.8 mm long by 2.1 mm wide. These are considerably smaller than the wolf spiders that I see in South Carolina. The Carolina Wolf Spider average length is over 20 mm in length!
