Hello Mr. LaFave,

My name is Shireen I am a student from St. Mark Catholic School. I have a two part question for you: Have you catalogued the Artic spider species? If so, how do these species compare to spider species in warmer cilmates?

Nick LaFave

Hi Shireen! There are 10 families of spiders with 51 species in the arctic. The Linyphiidae family of spiders contains the greatest number of species here, but wolf spiders are by far the most abundant in this particular habitat. The wolf spiders here are considerably smaller than those I see in South Carolina.
