In many states, record highs have been reached through the hot heat wave we have been experiencing. Is this true for Alaska too? I look at the temperature recordings you post in the journals but I wonder if these are normal for this time of year or if the weather down here is changing the weather up there?

The weather is really quite varied this time of year. We did have a long stretch of warm days, but it was 42 degrees Fahrenheit yesterday. The temperatures can range from 40 to 70 on any given day, and it changes fast!
