In your picture of the tents at camp, is the black mat in the foreground a solar panel/mat ?

Thanks for the question.The solar mat was a foldable solar charging panel that in this case generates enough power to charge a laptop even while working. It was amazingly thin and pretty light weight. The group brought this along on the acclimatization climb in order to charge both computers and satellite phones.
Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you, but I could never really get on-line while on the mountain, so I'm catching up on work back in Anchorage.
