Hi Ms. Herrmann! It's too bad the weather spoiled you plans, but those gliders are amazing! At first it seems like a simple concept for how they work, but they're so high-tech and have such awesome capabilities. The density/volume idea seems a very bit like what we're doing in chem right now, which is pretty exciting even if the connection is vague. The gliders remind me of the little pool toy torpedos I would play with when I was little, but infinitely better. Do you know how long they typically stay out in the ocean? It's great to see Dr. Amsler in his State High sweatshirt as well! Nice overview of all the lab technology--I haven't heard of most of it, so that was pretty cool, especially the RASA. We had a two hour delay today because of freezing rain, which was nice, and yesterday was the Lip Dub. It was pretty fun and it sounds like LE was well-represented with the giant caterpillar! (I was with marching band). Oh, on the Ask the Team page, it's showing 0 replies even for topics that you've responded to, at least on my computer; I just wanted to let you know! I wish I could have skyped with you today, and I hope your presentation goes well on Friday--am I right that it is a few different school will be watching and listening? I can't wait to hear about everything in person when you come back. That seems so soon! Mila
