Seafloor Organisms and Changing Ocean Conditions in Antarctic

Hi, Ms. Herrmann We were wondering if you had gotten, or will ever get, a chance to ride a dog sled? We also wanted to know if there was any domestic animals there at the station.

Hi Maddy and Semhar,Great to hear from you! No, as far as I know there aren't any domestic
animals at Palmer Station. I haven't ever ridden a dog sled and won't
get to while I'm in Antarctica, but you never know-maybe I'll ride one
in Alaska some day!

P.S.--Tell Maddy no; I only rubbed the toe. There is some debate about
whether the tradition is to rub or kiss the toe...
