Seafloor Organisms and Changing Ocean Conditions in Antarctic

Hi Miss Herrmann!! It's Larissa & Brianna!! We hope that you're having a really good time in Antarctica!!! Have you seen any marine life?? Is it really cold there? Or do you have a special tent-ish room thing? Maybe you can bring some of the snow back to State College so we can have at least a little! :) Miss you!!! <3 Larissa <3 Brianna

Hi Larissa and Brianna,Thanks for the note! I've seen tons of marine life; you should check out my journals! There's a really cool youtube video I put together on the 2-19 journal titled "Encounter with Humpback Whales." You should watch it!
It's not that cold; highs have been in the 30's because I'm north of the Antarctic circle. I share a room in a dormitory style building with the station doctor. She's nice, but it is a little strange sharing a room again (it's kind of like college!) with someone other than my husband!
I hope you get some snow in S.C.!
