Hi my name is Dawson I am in Mr. Wood's class, at Talbert middle school. I have 2 quick questions to ask. First, does living in the freezing weather change your body's progression, like the way you walk or tak? Also, if you have been in the cold for a long time, have you learned different ways to live other than if you wre living in the beach? Please reply, and I hope you get what you need on your trip!

Hi Dawson thanks for writing. Very interesting questions.
I have learned to live in the cold by dressing warm. I grew up in tropical
Mexico, so I have had to change the way I dress. I first thought wearing a
huge big jacket would help, but then I realized that when I start walking
or being active that I got too hot. When I removed the jacket II got too
cold. I learned that the best way to dress is in layers. I am not sure
where you live; if it is in a cold part of the world, like Madison in
Wisconsin, you probably know to dress in layers.
Our bodies cannot adapt to the cold. I only talk differently when I am
shivering, hut it is better to not get that cold. We do feel cold
differently with time. In the fall I feel a lot colder when the temperature
is going down to 35F than in spring, when it is increasing to 35 F.
Thanks for writing,
Juan.

Hi Dawson, shorts and t-shirts sounds good to me right now! We do wear a few more
layers, specially when we go outside. Thanks for the good wishes,
Juan.
