Hi there, when we were in McMurdo Station at the end of the summer the average
temperature was in the teens (Farenheit, -10 C) with a wind chill close to
0 F (-15 C). Now that we are sailing, the average temperature is close to
30 F (-1 C), so it is pretty balmy compared to what it is still at
Wisconsin. The ocean is close to 32 F, so it keeps the air temperature
close to that temperature.
Ask me again in a month and we will see what happens as we enter fall.

Hi Juan,Your photos give a lovely picture of what its like to be part of a working vessel and crew!
The temperature reads cold but the brilliance and depth of color make it seem inviting!
