Have you seen any polar bears attack some lion seals?

Hi Liam, Thanks for your e-mail. No, I have not seen any polar bears. Polar bears
are only found on the Arctic areas, that is, the polar regions on the North
of the planet. Down here in the Antarctic I have seen Adélie penguins,
Emperor penguins, Wedell seals, Skuas (which are very similar to gulls),
orcas, and what I think was a Mineke Whale. No one has attacked anybody. My
guess is that if there were polar bears around here there would not be
penguins, but I might be wrong. Hope school is going well for you, and
thanks again for writing.
Juan.

Hi Cullen thanks for writing to me. The trip is going pretty well. We have been
delayed by a couple of big storms. They make such big waves that we have to
stop sampling the ocean. So far on this trip I have seen seals, penguins,
whales and flying birds like the Skuas. I hope to see more. Thanks for the
good wishes and I hope your school year goes well.
Juan.
