Seawater Property Changes in the Southern Ocean

Dear Mr. Juan,

          Have you seen anything out of the ordinary? Have you been able to see exotic places on your expedition? How is it on your trip on the boat? Have you seen any seawater property changes? Has any of the penguins on your trip do something out of the ordinary or something extrodinary?

Hi Nguyen, Alexander, thanks for writing. I would say almost everything is out of the ordinary
for me since there is nothing like this back home. Whales, seals, penguins,
icebergs, glaciers... Antarctica is a pretty exotic place. We are
collecting water samples and will compare hte results to samples taken 20
years ago. We will then see if the seawater properties have changes. It
does seem that we are seeing some changes, but it is too soon to tell.
