Seawater Property Changes in the Southern Ocean

is it cold out thir, and is the winter out there colder than the winter out here

Hi there, it is colder in Monona and Cottage Grove than here, I believe. The air
temperature is not as cold now that we are over the ocean, because the
ocean gives of heat to the air. We are at 29 F right now. I do not know how
cold would it get in winter. Since we are in the Southern Hemisphere, we
are at the end of our summer. We barely started seeing sunsets a few days
ago; before it was 24 hours of daylight!
