Seawater Property Changes in the Southern Ocean

Hi Juan,

I am so excited reading your journal and feel like I'm on the trip with you! Thanks for the journal and the photos which are great! So, what are the temperatures there? Driveway at MGHS looks like a polar cap today with ice all over and even ice crystals in big chunks....you'd love it! Anyway, did you have a map of your trip and exactly where you started and where you're going so we can follow along on the map? Your journaling is very personal and interesting. Thanks for writing (although I am not sure who is writing, since I do notget the address of the sender), Temperatures here have been balmy. The
lowest I remember at McMurdo was -10 C, so probably warmer than at
Wisconsin. The windchill, on the other hand, has been very cold at times. I
had hard time going back to the buildings on a 15 minute walk due to the
bitter wind even though I had my parka, gloves and extra hat. I was not
wearing my winds pants, which would have helped, but it was quite brutal. I
will add a map to the blog with the rout we are following. The main page of
the wabsite should have by now a google map with our current location.
