Dear Mr.Botella

Hi Mr.Botella,my name is Christina Hoang. I'm from Talbert Middle School in Fountain Valley California. I am in Mr.wood's 1st period science class. I am in 6 grade. I was wondering if you are use to the weather or not and how many degrees is it usually there on your expedition. Did you see any polar bears or penguins or walrus there on the expedition? Is it fun living on a boat or not?

                                                                                               Sincerly,
                                                                                                                 Christina Hoang

Juan Botella

Hi Christina, thanks fro writing. I am doing alright with the weather since I dress
warmly when I go out. It is not that cold when we are in open water, barely
below freezing. There are no polar bears in Antarctica, they only live tin
the Arctic areas. We have seen lots and lots of penguins. Mostly Adélies
and a few Emperors. It is a lot fo fun being on the ship.
Thanks for writing,
Juan.
