After going on line and looking up Nathaniel Palmer, I found out that his house in Stonington, CT is part of the Stonington Historical Society and that there are tours available to go on that tell all about his life as a sailor and captain.  It is just funny that my father lives just a tiny bit west of Stonington in Mystic, CT.  I told him about the historical house and he is intrigued in going to check it out.  Next time I'm up in CT with my husband John Pena (who is aboard right now on the Nathaniel B. Palmer), we will have to go see the museum/historical house.  How are you?  I sent another email a bit earlier to the teacher you mentioned and the address you gave me on the phone.Hi, Honey.  Hope this gets passed to you.  Please try to email if you can- either work or home address, or try calling again.
