Hello,

Sarah, my name is David Donato and I don't know if you remember me but I was in the TOPP content this spring.

I am now teaching 7th Science at Ed White Middle School so greetings from Ed White. I did not get a chance to e-mail you before you left on your trip. I have recently read your journal and it is truly fascinating. I am glad to see your spirit is up even after the fire. I am going to introduce the students to your journal this Friday so they can read about your research and see the pictures. So you will hear from us then.

Glad to hear from my friends in San Antonio...good luck to you David as you start your first year teaching! I know you'll have a ball...I'd love to hear from y'all during the next six weeks. We're leaving Punta Arenas tomorrow, and we should be in the ice in a few days.
