My students and I would like to congratulate the Captain and crew of the Palmer for their professionalism during the ship board fire. We are so happy that you are all safe. A fire on board a ship at sea is a very scary and dangerous thing. To have a fire in such a remote location and nasty piece of ocean as Drakes Passage just makes it worse. We look forward to following the rest of your expedition.
