Hi Sarah, from Larry Carstenson, Neva's brother. Hope this is the proper way to communicate with you. Neva said you were an Aggie fan and that you are working for your Ph.D. at A & M. Although I am a professor at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, I have always been a staunch Nebraska Cornhusker fan. I just wanted you to know that I was at the game and watched your Aggies stomp us to death yesterday. I don't know if you get the scores but the final was Aggies 36 to 14. I think that is the first time A & M has won on the road this year. We were so happy to accommodate them!!

I really enjoy your reports. I keep up on them daily. I have also been following the position reports on your ship. What a fascinating experience you are having. I look forward to visiting with you about your experiences when you return.

Regards,

Larry Carstenson

Hi Larry - so nice to hear you! I'm sure Neva and Martin have enjoyed a bit of peace and quiet on River Ridge in my absence! I don't know whether it's worse to be an Aggie or a Cornhusker these days! Thanks for the score...quite an accomplishment for the boys in maroon. Somehow the Aggies manage to win a few "big" games and choke on the easy ones. It's been a crazy year for college football as I understand it, can't wait to get home and catch a few games. At least my Cowboys are doing well this season. I can't act too excited about the Aggie victory around the ship, though, as one of the scientists is an ardent Cornhusker fan. Glad you are enjoying reading about my adventures...it's been great fun to write about them!
