How do you study the bacteria in the soil? Is there a technique?

Hi Micheal,These soilers have many different techniques and procedures. It really depends on what they are looking for but RNA and SIP both label active microbes which is important because the best DNA procedures are picking up on dead microbes too. So yes, lots of technology and techniques are put to use.Hope that helps.Justin
