Hi Justin, You have a really neat project. There were a number of different teams working the Dry Valleys while I was down there this past November and December. Be prepared for wind and cold - a lot of them came back to McMurdo happy to have somewhere out of the wind.
Enjoy yourself - Antarctica is a beautiful place.
