What kind of life beyond bacteria live in the dry soil? Did you get me my penguin?

Hi Elsa,I had your penguin all picked out and ready to go when I realized how unhappy it would be in Arizona. I looked it right in the eye and it seemed to be a very liberal penguin. With our current political situation I just could not bring myself to do it. I let that penguin go. Let's talk about soil when I get back. It is 1 am and I am only halfway done with the responses for students. Please tell Armstrong he wins. I give up.
