Soil Ecology in Antarctic Dry Valleys

Do the soil ever dry up?Did you find anything life that live through the cold soil? How are you?

Hi James,The soils here can be very dry. Some so dry they just blow away like powder. Even these soils have life in them. Yes, we are finding many of the things we are looking for so basically we just keep trying to find out more.Life here is pretty good, interesting people, nice scenery, ok food. I am kinda missing FLG, family, and my dogs to name a few. It has been a great adventure and it is not over yet.See you soon.JK
