What does the the soil over there have in it and why u want to study it

Greetings mystery person.The soil has a lot going on. We are mostly looking at microbial communities. Why you ask? I believe we have a responsibility to advance knowledge in our time. We would not be able to explore space, fly in planes, talk on telephones, or cure diseases without a strong base of scientific knowledge. If we are to just say that we know everything and stop exploring, asking questions, or learning then we, as a species are done for. Oh, and because it is really fun.Justin Kendhammer
