Hi, i think it is really great that you are doing science there and that, that is what the continent

is for. But is was wondering how many animals you saw and what animals were they?

Hi, thank you for your comment. Yes, this continent is perfect for doing research. I am glad we preseved it with the Antarctic treaty. I am at the South Pole, about 800 miles away from the coast. That is too far for any animal to travel, so we do not have any animals here. I also have not had a chance to see any wild life while I was  two days in McMurdo, the reserach center on the coast of Antarctica.  However, I have found a weblink for your to check out that listed all the wild life in Antarctica.  Enjoy, E.
