Dear Ms. Bergholz & team,

I was just had a few questions about your research:

    1. What is your favorite part about the research you do that has to do with the depletion of the ozone layer ?

    2. What is the hardest part of antarctica to deal with besides the cold?

Thank You!Laughing

Dear Olivia, Thank you for your questions. 1. My favorite part of the research is acually preparing the balloon and flying it. It is great being able to send up an instrument into the sky. It is amazing to imagine that it will fly through the startosphere up to 35 kilometers. 2. The other hard part to deal with besides the cold in Antarctica is th light. However, it is absolutely amamazing to have 24 hours light and I would not change a bit of it. It is just hard to sleep and I darkened my room. This is just a minor difficult part. There are no other difficult parts for me being here. I love it all! Have a great winter break. E. Bergholz
