Hi Ms. Bergholz,

Happy Holidays!
I was reading your journal posts and had a few questions.

Your christmas gala dinner sounded fun, but were you nostalgic for your family on christmas or through out the trip?

Are your students at the United Nations School following and learning about what you are doing in Antarctica very closely?

Have there been any new significant discoveries on this expedition about the Ozone Hole?

Thank you for taking your time to read this!

Hi Hanna Sachs, Thank you for following the journals.
1. Yes , I missd the family a little bit. However, we were so buzy that it was more fun, exciting and interesting than sad.
2. Yes, many students are following my excursion closely. However, they had exams before Christams and are now on vacation, like you.
3. There have been no significant discoveries reagrding the ozone hole, except our prediction that by 2070, we might not have an Antarctic ozone hole anymore if we continue to ban the CFC's.
Happy New Year,
Elke Bergholz
